Just curious as there are no dealers where I retired. Are the new whizz-bang iterations flying out of the dealers?

Thanks Jack. Of all the Harleys I've owned, my two Dynas are hands down my favorites. Perfect motorcycles on all levels...

The Motor Company is going to regret dumping their best line for a bunch of poorly designed, crappy looking replacements.

The Milwaukee-based company reported a 7.9 percent drop (in) shipments in 2017...(while) Revenue rose 12 percent to $1.05 billion, mainly on pricing as retail sales of motorcycles fell 9.6 percent worldwide.
Not that any of it relates directly to Softail...

Yawn.

Haha you guys hatin too much :P For now im all about the dynalyfe, but I know the new softail line is better. The new softail dont have anything in common with the old line, performance wise. I will say it has more DNA from the dyna line

A while back I was surfing threw the m8 or softail section, I forget what one it was. The post I clicked on had like 3 exhaust videos. Stock and 2 aftermarket. The stock sounded weak as to be expected but the 2 after market sounded almost as bad. Even if the out of the box numbers are better, which is a great thing the sound or lack of soul is a deal breaker. I will take my loud 103 at 10.2 compression any day. Is the new valve set up the reason or did I listen to bad videos. I have yet to hear one in the flesh.
