I'm thinking about swapping out the stock drag bars on my Low S with Biltwell high trackers.

These are 1". Aren't the stock bars 1 1/4"? Will the controls fit properly on these? Dimpled? Any help appreciated.

 

Make sure that the Biltwell bars are notched for fly by wire, can't really tell from the picture if they are.

 

LRS stock bars are 1 1/4 inch. No?

 

Stock bars are 1 1/4 across the bar and the ends for the controls are 1". You will have to change the risers out as well.

 

Biltwell said no dice. They are working on developing new bars for throttle by wire.

 

you can machine any bar to fit fbw. Got to be pretty handy on the tools however. It's way easier to just get some premade ones but in the first days of FBW bikes you had to get the dremel out!
