do drag bars reduce comfort?

Default do drag bars reduce comfort?
I haven't got my Nightster yet, however, when I do, I will want to change the bars to the drag style.&nbsp\\; However, does it reduce comfort? and on a scale from 1-10 by how much?&nbsp\\; They look great on all the Nightsters I've seen them on but curious as to how the ride was afterwards.&nbsp\\; Also, I'm going to have to change the mid foot controls to forward controls as well and how badly will that affect things if at all in conjunction with the drag handle bar mod?&nbsp\\; Any help is appreciated.

if you are looking for comfort stay home style then go for it drag bars are hard on your back but you look cool

&nbsp\\;I put drag bars on my883L. the stock bars hurt my wrists and just never could get used to them. when i switched over, much more comfortable. have mine on 6" risers, plus it looks cooler..

My drag bars are more comfortable than the stock bars. They're four inches wider than the stock bars on the 1200C. They fit my riding style and stance alot better.

In general yes. but they improve handling.&nbsp\\; Depends on what you're looking for...

my drag bars are more comfortable than my stock bars.&nbsp\\; when i first put them on my left wrist was always hurting, but by just turning the bars down a bit that solved my wrist problems.&nbsp\\; i've never felt more in control of my bike either...i love drag bars

I think its all preference but I had drag bars on my metric bike and I loved em, my buddies would ride it and they would complain that it hurts there back. Id say buy and try.

hurts lower back a tad bit...but nothing major...deff. solves the wrist hurting problem though...and handling improves...or at least u feel more incontrol

seems to me the harley experience has never been about comfort anyway...if it were, we'd all be riding Honda's...drag bars look soo cool..that's all that matters.
