Default Racetech springs with rigor intiminators

Had to rebuild the front end, got racetech springs, ricor intiminators, I want to put the caps on once as I'm old as dirt and had my shoulder rebuilt, I'm 210 what size spacer did any of you guys use who are close to my weight, I really appreciate it

Size of spacer (length) will give you your sag. You are going to have to make some measurements to determine that. On my FXDL, I went with 1.5" of total sag (weight of the bike plus rider), or about 30% of travel. Without external preload adjusters it becomes an iterative process, unfortunately, to get the right length of the spacers.

You might have to put the caps on Twice, but if your good, that should do it

Racetech should have a recommended length (starting point anyway)

Yes it long if you read every post, but the first bit is great knowledge...even if your not using this setup.

I just did this setup on mine but I went with Traxxion springs. Still to cold and miserable to ride it yet.

That guy spent a lot of time playing around with his set-up. I can't help but think whether he would have been better served by ordering an Ohlins front cartridge kit and calling it a day. I guess he enjoys his time experimenting on the bike versus riding it.

if one has the bucks available the ohlins cartridges are well worth the price, all external dampening and spring tension adjustments, install them once, play around with the settings just a bit, you will save a lot of time vs removing the top caps and constantly adjusting your spring tension.

Before I purchased the Ohlins I was considering new springs and the emulators. That set up is not cheap and for a couple of hundred more, the Ohlins made sense to me.
