Default Best $ You've Spent on Your Dyna?

What's the best improvement, bang for your buck, or most interesting-fun thing you've done to your Dyna?

Mine? New tires. Old ones had lots of tread left but now the bike handles 100% better.

I may or may not ride this summer. The bike is in pieces, I've been unemployed for 11 months and have an extremely limited budget for now, I'm still struggling with my rider confidence after my last wreck, I'm not real motivated at the moment, and I'll be moving into CDL A driving that will likely leave me with very little free time for a while.

Truth.

Oh, and I'm 42, divorced and lonely, ravaged upper body that's weak as a baby, and never Served. Troll and troublemaker?...I guess I'll leave that to others to decide.

Can you be real?

ETA, wanted to clarify that the reason I struggle my rider confidence is because the ortho surgeon was straight about my odds if I ever take another fall. It likely means I lose my arm(s). That's a MAJOR price to pay despite how much I love ride I kinda like being able to feed myself too.

pretty sure there is a thread very similar to this else where.

But BY FAR the best money spent on my dyna is the Vibra-Technics motor mount. No more wobbles in the corner, and crisper handling.

but some honorable mentions...Big brake kit, Daymaker head light, LED turn signals, crash bar, bassani exhaust, DK intake, power vision tuner, 68t pulley, fairing.

Suspension, IMO. It's amazing how much better these bikes feel and handle with a proper suspension setup.

After 184,608 miles on the original 1989 FXRS Engine & Transmission( I bought the bike NEW ) I installed a new S&S 107 C.I. EVO Engine and BAKER DRIVETRAIN 6 Speed Transmission and Primary. Then 3 days after all that WORK I shredded the rear drive belt . I switched that bike and my 2001 FXDX SUPER GLIDE SPORT and 2003 FXDL Anniversary Low Rider over to 530 series O-Ring Anodized Chains and BAKER Transmission Sprocket (23 tooth) and a total Zippers Performance Rear Sprocket(Steel) and stainless steel spacerts and all hardware. I believe that was the BEST Improvement besides replacing the entire drivetrain and Tranny on the FXR because the FXDX and FXDL have been ridden HARD,LONG and Raced & Wheelied,Holeshot, slammed and Beaten often and they've never given me a moments worth of trouble or worry . I'm a firm believer that ANY H-D with a good 530 ANODIZED O-Ring Chain & STEEL SPROCKETS is an investment well worth the time, and effort to preserve the miles and smiles those bikes give us .
