When I priced it out online, doing front and rear mag swap and dual disc conversion for my bike is between $1600-2000.

For your bike, I've always been partial to the 13 spoke mags. Good luck with your conversion.
yea his is a fxdc so it already has the laced front wheel but it is set up to take a disk on the right side as it has the bolt pattern on the hub. He likes the spoked wheels and it would be way cheaper just to keep them. Still going to need a dual disk lower for the right side. Calipers would probably be pm or some aftermarket.

my evo is a different story. That lower is proving difficult as hell to find. Wheel is a thunder star though so set up to accept a dual disk. Just need a second pm 4 piston caliper and the proper master cylinder.

Good luck with your conversion.

Default This subjects raised some questions for me as well

I am putting a 21" fat spoke front wheel on my 2006 flhpi but whomever got this bike from the police changed the front wheel out to what looks like a post 08 18" eltroglide but my forks are the same so im enclosing a pic of the wheel to see if anyone knows if this wheel would have the 1" bearings in it or did they change the axle or does anyone know if it's possible they just threw the wheel with the 25mm bearings on the bike on the 1" axle?? I'm super confused I'm just going to take it all apart and find out if itll work I guess

The later model wheel on my bike 08 and up?? It is an 18"

The setup im getting ready to install

Your current front wheel being shown is a 2009-13 17" ... and that's a 25mm axle being used.

25mm and 1" axles have the same OD where they "mate" with the sliders, so you can do whatever you want to do

well it's actually a 18" wheel but yes I figured that the 1" axle is actually solid on the end correct?

Check that wheel again ... I have never ever seen that 28-knuckle wheel in a 18"

Default 07 FXDL

I bought lowrider s mags to put on my 07 I’m aware of the bearings. But if I wanna run my 1” axles will I have to get the hubs drilled out also to accommodate the 1” axles?
