Amsoil top end noise

Amsoil top end noise
Anyone use Amsoil and the top end sounds like a sewing machine that has not seen lube in 25 years?
Mine sounded like that. After 1700 km I got rid of it and went back to the Canadian tire 20w 50 mc oil and the dam noise is gone.
I was thinking about trying Redline 20w 50 in the motor. Will it sound the same as the Amsoil?
I do use redline in the tranny and primary.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks.

Same here; I've got Rock Out's installed and when I switched to both Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50 and then tried Liqui Moly 10W-60 synthetics the top end noise was amazing. I dumped both of them with a quickness and went back to my old stand-by, Valvoline VR1 SAE 50 and the top end is stone quiet again...

Never been a fan of synthetic oil...bought a brand new truck in 99...put synthetic oil in it...it rattled like a diesel ...put "regular" oil back in ...quiet as a mouse...never used synthetic again.
And before you chime in and tell me how much better synthetic is...the truck has 286,000 on it right now, and still runs like new.

I ran amsoil when my wg was stock and had a little valve train noise. After cams and head work it was amplified. I tried red line 20/60 no better. I then went back to Dino vr1 20/50, a lot less noise. I know run spectro 20/50 Dino in the colder months and spectro 25/ 60 in the summer . Truth the vr1 was just as quiet as the spectro. I run the vr1 in my 455 v8 and in my Evo 1340, might start running it again in the wide glide to keep it simple!

listen here know it all , heads were done over 10 k ago and the bike runs like a top. They were done here in ct by a man named Paul Matika , anybody from this neck of the woods will tell you he is the man to go to. he is damm good at what he does. There are a lot of post around here on the subject of synthetic oils And valve train noise . But I guess it’s all because of bad machining. Go fk yourself!
