Default Vibration Mostly Cured

My Indy took my TPS off, cleaned it out and opened the hole up a little. Now runs much smoother. 39 bones for labor. Happy.

TPS hole?

Regardless, that's excellent news.

Yeah, throttle position sensor. I'm just confused a bit by the mention of enlarging a hole. The TPS is a potentiometer...no holes...unless it's the throttle horn hole for the throttle cable, but that doesn't make sense. Maybe the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. That has a passage on either side of the throttle blade, but I've never heard of anybody needing to enlarge them.

Don't know what he meant, but it sure runs like it used to.

Can you be more specific? Certain RPMs? Which RPMs? Idle? Only idle? Acceleration? Deceleration?

The more info the better for this thread.
