Best 2-1 performance exhaust....that is quiet
Greetings,
Currently running a V&H Pro Pipe, with Quiet Baffle on my Switchback. Ran the Pro Pipe for about a year with the standard baffle. Performance was nice (also running an Andrews 57H cam), but doing 80mph on the highway in 6th felt like hammers beating my head. Then switched the baffle to the redesigned Quiet Baffle. I had noticed when I put the Quiet Baffle in, I lost some zing. I would like to get back the lost zing, but do not want loud. Quiet, or less loud zing is the goal.
Recommendations on a 2-1 performance exhaust that is quieter than the Pro Pipe?

I just went through this scenario. I chose the tbr Comp s. The older version not the new reverse cone version. It's so nice to be able to have a conversation while standing next to the bike and for the first time in years my wife doesn't get a headache when riding even WITHOUT earplugs. Now when you romp on it....it wakes the dead lmao
ps. I went from the factory 09 headers with screaming eagle slipons to this....big wake-up call. It's a little torque monster now. It was running super rich with the map suggested by tmax but I leaned it out and am dialing it in. Very very happy with it. Also, according to hot bike mag tales from the Dyno it produced the same numbers as the rr3

I had the Supertrap Supermeg and loved it. Fantastic performance and tunable for volume, really nice. Here is the link to the thread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...the-house.html
However if I was doing it again now I would go with the Fuelmoto E Series. Tunable, reasonable volume and comes with both 12 and 18mm bungs for O2 sensors. Hope all is well!

Another vote for the Supertrapp here - with the closed end cap it's very quiet at idle but you can still tell it's running...barks nice when you get on it but again not too loud...performance has been great. Had one on my old bike, snagged this one brand new open box on ebay for $400...
