You don't have to buy extensions , you can just buy longer pegs themselves , I have them on mine ,they are 2 incheslonger , and your feet stay on them ,they only come with chrome endcaps , since i wanted the stock look i took a pair of visegrips and pull them offwith no damage to the rubber , they are at the harley dealer , check out my bike photo and you will see the difference

I purchased a set of these and used them to extend my forward controls. Took a couple rides to get used to them, but now I really like them. Not only do they make the pegs wider, but also extend or shorten the length about 2".

Hey JMPancoast,

Do you have any photos of the extensions installed you could upload or sent me? I've got the same offsets from a previous ride and can't get them to bolt up with the forwards on my '04. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Here's one I took to show someone the chrome eng/tranny interface cover. It offers a glimpse of the peg extension on the brake side.

These extensions have a femalerecess on one end which slides over the male tab on the Harley forwards. The other end had a male tab which fitsin the female recess in the pegs.
