Bit of difference between being stuck out in the middle of bumfuk nowhere before cell phones patching a tube with spoons and foot pump and being at a point in life you can say fug it and pay somebody to do it.

I did tire work over half my life ive always changed my own bike tires . the cast wheels are a bit rough to break the bead on .last year one of my Riddin buddys bought a changer from harbor freight and I used it to break the beads then spooned it off the rim . I use rags under the spoon to keep from scratching the rims . usually I don't balance the tires just line up the valve stem with the dot on the tire and haven't had any problem with the balance . ponderin on getting one of those changers from harbor freight tho. that thing was nice and cheap .
