Thanks for the suggestions so far you guys! Seems like the commander 2's so far are the most preferred. I had jotted down night dragons as well. But the milage you get on those arent as great as i hear?

And wouldnt you know it, i checked my front tire this morning. Its still holding all the air! Im going to let it sit one more night. Its just odd to lose all that air and not be punctured I'd think. Im a little weary to take it out w a possibility it is punctured and i cant see the nail. I'd hate to take it out and get a blow out on the highway, which i mostly ride on.50 to 70 mph.

There was plenty of tread left, not even worn halfway down. I dumped them early because I couldn't stand them any more. Those things never came within 10 feet of a tar snake that they didn't want to follow. Even without the tar snakes, they had an incredibly vague feel and didn't seem at all connected to the road. I tried various pressures (starting with the recommend pressure of course) and nothing seemed to improve the situation.

For all I know they handled better than the stock Dunlops, but I've never ridden on those. I buy my bikes used and usually put new rubber on them right away.

Like I said, people here seem to like them, maybe I got a bad set.

Dunlop elites claim to offer softer side walls for handling and a harder compound top for mileage.

Tried a Commander II up front.. didn't like it. Currently running Dunlop Elites front/back... very nice tires.

Dunlop E3. Front tires last about 50% longer than rear for me. I never hesitated to change one.

I'm going dragons on my next set. I want the best handling and softest compound. I'm so used to changing tires every 3K miles on my sport bikes. If tires last me 5K miles on my Harley I'm already happy. Pay to play.
