Default Lite clutch kit?? 40% easier clutch??

I think I want to try this on when I go to install the new clutch cable. Hmmm, has anyone regretted doing this? I can't really say I have a problem with the clutch being too hard to pull, but nicer is, well, nicer!

Which one of the following should I use? Holy **** the first one is $179!

1 - https://www.jpcycles.com/product/630...g-power-clutch

2 - https://www.jpcycles.com/product/164...ite-clutch-kit

3 - https://www.jpcycles.com/product/166...ull-clutch-kit

Pretty interesting, at sub $40 for the last two kits, I'd be willing to try this. I wonder how these would feel with a shorty clutch lever.

These kits always make me wonder... Is there enough lever travel to get a "full pull?" I'm sure it's much easier to pull the clutch, but there would be less release for any given amount of lever travel... Right?

Default Reduced clutch lever pull

I've had a White Brother's reduced effort clutch kit in my 2000 FXDX since 2002. Clutch adjustment is important. You need to reduce the gap at the basket adjustment as well as the clutch cable. I didn't appreciate this kit until my first bad traffic jam (Laconia NH Rally)

Quick bit of YouTube searching pulls up quite a few results. YouTube searched for: "Twin Power Easy Pull Clutch Kit"

Video link:

Not the best video and I did not see comparison stills of the parts swapped, not sure it answers the question of "full pull".

Another interesting overview:

Dang guys, I was pretty much done spending money on parts. Ha!

I've had the Burly one. Let me tell you, unless you can order custom cables where the intended "travel" is shortenend, dont bother....you wont get the full life of your cables, and it's not much reduced effort anyway......it is easier, but not enough to justify it. That first one is interesting though, and I may look into that

I've put the Burly in my Dyna and the GF's Dyna. Clutch adjustment is critical, but once it's done, you leave it alone for years. And yes, 40% reduction feels about right. Makes a difference going into hour 7 or 8 on a longer ride. (Kinda like a stock seat vs. a custom seat.) It makes a difference. Besides, they're less than the cost of a t-shirt.

I'm pretty sure my Barnett extra plate clutch pack said not to use any of these devices. I assume they're super sensitive not only to cable adjustment, but to clutch pack height and adjustment too. It seems like a balancing act to get enough pull and enough free play. But obviously it works for a lot of people!

Yeah I don't think I'll mess with it. Like I said, I don't have any issue with the clutch lever pull now. Although I did get stuck in labor day traffic once - but hey it was LABOR DAY!

I had one on my bike and removed it when the ramp jumped the *****. It didn't make much of a difference anyway. i think it was a waste of money
