Default Blue loctite the triple trees/fork tube pinch bolts?

I don't see any mention of it in the service manual, so I'm thinking no, but what could it possibly hurt?

A drop or two of blue certainly won't hurt at all

Have used it on fork pinch bolts for years and never had a problem. Never had a pinch bolt come loose either.

I`ve never used it, and never had a pinch bolt come loose...

The FSM doesn`t call for it, so I don`t use it.

Don't. And never on service covers with gaskets. Steel in aluminum and loctite makes for a repair with a helicoil or insert next time. Done correctly, they always seem to get tighter in aluminum, .

I wound up not putting any on them, mainly because I dont want to clean that crusty blue crap out of the threads next time. Thanks!

Acetone will take it right off. Just don't do what I did once: I had a part that I thought was all aluminum, with loctite in the internal threads. I threw it in a bucket of acetone and the loctite disappeared, along with the nylon bushing material...
