Default Low Rider S price

Been looking for a 2nd bike, found a 2016 Low Rider S, 1600 miles. All stock except for handlebars, everything looks great on the bike and rides well. Dealer was asking $17,000, will sell for $15,000. Only thing I didn't like was the mid controls, will have to swap to forwards.

Y'all think this is a good price? Looking for input (on price and any other info that those with experience with this bike may have). Thanks.

I’d say it’s fair to maybe a tad high. I’ve been looking at getting a LRS and the prices are all over the place. My local dealer had a ‘17 with 3,600 miles advertised at $15k about a month ago. If you look in cycle trader a lot of them are listed at or above original msrp.

In your area, That's a reasonable price. On the west coast it would be a steal.

.
If you like to ride fast you will like the mid controls. Good luck keeping your pant legs from blowing up your legs at 100 with forward controls.....

Good luck keeping your feet on the pegs at 100. Mine had forward controls fitted by the previous owner and i couldn't get them off fast enough. The ff mids are really comfortable. I did over 800 miles last weekend and never had any problems.

I have nothing against forward controls, but I always think it's a strange choice to look for an LRS or an FXDX if the intent is to get rid of mids... But of course it's totally up to the owner!

Mids just were not comfortable, legs felt cramped and I was glad to get off the bike after riding it so I could stretch out. Everything else about the bike was great.

Highway pegs or a crash bar.

Problem solved.
