Default Front suspension upgrades

My 07 FXD has about 30,000 on it and I noticed the front suspension is bottoming out so time for rebuild,I presume the springs are getting weak so what is available to help it out some.

Ever changed the fork oil? If not, start with that. A heavier oil will help with bottoming.

Yeah, typically, when a suspension gradually starts to bottom out it's a damping issue. Modern springs take a very long time to weaken significantly.

bottoming out? I don't think I have ever had that happen on a dyna, the rear yea sure but dam
if you are just trying to get it back like it was I would do a fluid change first and see what it does

I recently changed the fork oil in mine from the factory 5w to Belray 10w. It made a lot of difference in the ride quality. I'd give that a try before spending big money on new parts.

Fluid breaking down bud. Replace it, it’ll be a whole new ride.
