Is that dash made for that tank? Seems to me that not all dashes are the same....it looks like your holes might be out of line...you might be able to manipulate the console...or the mount....

I seem to recall someone else doing this and needing to put a z-bend in that bracket. If I remember they were trying to put their ignition switch in the console and the donor console didn't match the center to center position of the bolts. You can search for something like that. I'll look at my project bookmarks and may get lucky.

Yeah it's the stock dash and the holes are from factory not me.

The z bracket sounds like we might be onto something..

Damn. My dash doesn't have room in between the gauges for the lights. Hmm.

You might be best off bending the bracket on there so that the lights fit between the support bars but weld on some tabs to make the bracket longer and drill them so that the bolt retainer can mount to each end.
