Default New Wideglide owner

Just purchased a 2005 Dyna Wideglide this past weekend. Really nice bike. Will try to post pictures when I get some.. Would any of you have a source for a owners manual and also maintenance or shop manual. I want to be able to do some of my own service and the bike did not have any manuals. If you could post a link would appreciate it. Thanks David

Congratz on ur new ride. Post some pic's definitely. I bought my manual from the dealer while browsing merchandise one day. I limit myself to 50 smackers at each visit. Otherwise, I would be living on the street. Well, maybe I limit myself to 50 smackers + / - 300 lol.

you can get all the manuals you need from HD. Their service manuals, although a bit pricey, are well done and worth it for us do-it-yourselfers.

Keep a check on eBay for manuals. The HD manuals are definitely the ones to get. The Clymer and Haynesones suck.

Congrats on the bike, you are gonna love it. I got mine about four weeks ago (07 wideglide) and couldn't be happier with it.
I bought my service manual at the dealer, but if you're lookin' for someplace to order online, Harley's website has 'em in the online store:
http://www.harley-davidson.com/

Easiest way to get there is click, the "Motorcycles" tab at the top, then "Service and Maintenance" on the left sidebar. I'd post a direct link, but it's got my login embedded in it which wouldn't do you much good I don't think.

Congrats on the new bike. I have a 2002 Wide Glide that I bought while stationed in Germany so I bought most of my stuff on the net. Go to the HD website and get the part number of what you want to buy and then go to www.discountbiker.com and sendhim the part number and he will send you a quote back. The guy name is Bruce and he averages about 20% off the price you see on the net. Hope this helps.

Ebay for the HD service manual, wouldn't worry much about an owners manual, although there are some on Ebay. Congrats on the WG, the only problem with my 05WG is I can't get enough miles on it.
