I have an 2003 wide glide...do any of the newer seats fit? Or can they be made to fit? I know the front catch is different but couldn't remember how so or if I could make it work.

Looking at a seat on eBay. Owner is not getting back to me with better pic. I don't know the specific year.

 

The year can make a difference. I know they changed the frame in 2006, but can't say for sure if they changed the seat dimensions.

 

The seats for a 2006 and up won't fit. But I don't know how far back before 2003 you can go. Somebody here will know for sure.

 

This seat is defiantly after 2003. It's a low profile type with the cross stitched every couple inches. I know when that was started but I know it was after 03.

 

96 to 03 will fit.

04 and 05 were bastard years and then they changed again in 06+.

 

You need to make sure you get a wide glide seat. If you look at the seat manufacturers they are broken down by year groupings, but they also indicate “except wide glide” or “not wide glide”
