Default Springer front end for my Dyna

Hey fellas, looking for a little help... Im looking to put a springer front end on my 2003 Dyna FXD and since Im not exactly technically inclined I was hoping some one could make a recomendation on size and degree. My priority is the ride as I do tend to do med to long distance trips and style (the look) is secondary. Im a self aware man and science and math werenever my strong suite,I know that there is a formula for "Rake and Trail" but I have no idea how it works so Imdepending on the rest of you guys to make up for my lack of knowledge. Anyway now that Ive been long winded hope to get some help...THANKS BILL

I finally gave up trying to put a spriner front end om my 2001 FXD. Traded it in on a 2003 Springer, FXSTS. Great ride.

agreed just get a springer, it will not handle as well in the turns and they require a lot of maint. I love the look but don't want to deal with a high maint bike, apparently niether does h-d seeing they axed it from the line up for 08.
