Default TC Bros 12.6" Floating Brake Rotor

http://www.tcbroschoppers.com/tc-bro...ag-wheels.html

Has anyone used the TC Bros 12.6" Oversize front floating brake rotors for 06-17 mag wheels. I never liked the Arlen Ness wavy rotors. They used to offer the smooth circular ones before, then stopped. Any history on the TC's?

Thanks,

Dave

I was looking at TC bros radial braking setup for my fxdls as well, but their webpage it says it’s not compatible with the abs bikes.

I didn't see that on their website. I'll give them a call and get the scoop. Thanks for replying.

Apparently TC bros 12.6” rotor braking system brackets are not compatible with abs bikes.

Can anyone quantify the improvement from using the 12.6" rotor over the stock (11.8"?) rotor? How does it compare to the Arlen Ness 15" setup?

Been using them for a couple years now. Happy with them and got them on sale. No complaints here

I don't see how ABS could cause fitment issues. Maybe a CYA clause????

There might be clearance issues with abs sensor? TC bros rep couldn’t give me clear answer.

I bet the issue is with the caliper spacing. Abs should use different wheel bearings that are a different width than non abs. This also requires different spacers. Maybe that make the caliper inboard or outboard spacing different.

Yeah that probably is it. Even then you could just use a different spacer, or shim the caliper right? We do it in the front all the time.
