Why you should never buy a Dyna
This guy does a good job explaining it, as well as why Harleys sound and feel like they do. The death wobble is at 8:20 in the video, the share didn't work right on starting it there automatically.

Will it happen? Probably not. If it did Harley would have stopped sales a long time ago. Can it happen? Yep. Most dyna guys upgrade their suspension and other bits so all those parts are new, but I'd be weary on anything worn out.

Only time I had the wobble was when I needed the F and R engine mounts. Went to same spot I had the "death wobble" at 70 did 1.00 and no issue.
After more than a dozen HDs, I'm about to buy my first Dyna, probably a '16 Street Bob. I've experienced two death wobbles: once with my Toyota Tundra - they're known for it, but they're more a waddle than a wobble - and once with a flat tire on my Heritage on the Interstate at 80 mph.
So I can handle anything a Dyna can throw at me!
Seriously, I'm not going to be swayed by a third-rate click bait artist.

I almost hesitate to post this article because it will give the guy more clicks.
In 10 Cruiser Bikes You'll Most Likely Regret Buying the author puts the Dyna at #1, saying, "For many this is the staple Harley, it is also one of the most dangerous motorcycles still on the road. The Dyna Death Wobble affects pretty much all Dyna motorcycles, speed wobbles happen all the time but with the Dyna there is no recovery, only tarmac, tree, pain, and maybe death."
Journalism is basically dead these days, and this kind of tripe is an example why. I've read about death wobble but haven't experienced it in the 25K miles I put on mine. Then again this could be my last post, I might ride my death machine again.

Naaa. Just the dumass that ran a classic motorcycle head on into a semi.
Maybe change their moto to “Fear the Kenworth” or instead of Ride Free or Die make it “When at Chicken or Die”
