Default Mid-mount footboards

Anyone ever try this style of floorboard/peg on mid mounts? Wondering what they "feel" like without hooking your instep on a mid-mount peg?? I've put the Switchback floorboard kit on the wife's FXDL and like it, but have mids on my FXDF and like them, too

You can put the FLD kit on your Fat Bob if you change out the stock exhaust if you are so inclined. I did on mine. I knew I'd like it because I had on a 2012 Super I traded a few years ago.

I run these DK BMX style boards and have for several years. Not quite as long as the ones in your pic but pretty similar. I have them on Further Forward mounts from an FXDL(S) and love them.

I have an FLD kit complete in the box. I'd like to try incorporating these on the mid mounts first

I tried mini footboards but sold them because I like hooking my heel on the backside of the footpeg. Just feels better to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to change inner and outer primary case to go to mids on a Fat Bob?

I have a pair of Flo Motorsports V4 mini boards arriving tomorrow. Similar to yours. Adding a heel shifter too.
They look more comfortable than pegs.
But being aluminum with no rubber, we'll see.

You are correct. My Fat Bob is a 2008, either setup was available from the factory then. I have mids and they work best for me.

That's interesting. I wasn't aware they ever had that option. Thanks. Learned something today.
