Hey all, so like the title says im looking to make a crashbar for my dyna, ive looked online and none of whats for sale seems to be my style for the price. i have access to a CNC laser cutter where i work so id like to cut out some custom brackets and gussets to make it myself, just wondering if anyones done this before and if you have some measurements for the 2 side plates. oh and the bike is mid control so i would be mounting in the forward control mounting holes. Thanks!

 

I'm no help as I dont have a welder, but maybe you could pick up a set of these to start you off? Seems like a good point to weld the bar to.

Took a used stock Dyna engine guard, narrowed it 6", rolled it forward and welded to highway peg plates, then black PC. Only problem is no highway pegs now; could clamp pegs on guard but a bit wide for my comfort

 

Good hustle Sharkey but I'm betting you could easily whip that problem!
