Mounted and balanced new tires over the weekend.. Michelin Commander II's on the front 120/70-zr19 and a Shinko Stealth 003 , 170/60zr17 on the rear and must say the handling is excellent.. Don't even feel the tar snakes.. This is my second commander up front, I'm running one for a few years now on my 98 Fatboy.. love them.. I also installed new Timken sealed bearings front and rear.. Very smooth and tight... Very Happy.. The only thing about the Shinko I didn't like is that it's a half inch smaller in diameter than stock, which increase my RPMs about 100 at cruising speed. I just might go back to the 66 rear pulley.. currently running a 68 tooth with 2830 rpm@70 mph.

 

I like the commanders as well. Got about 25k out of my last set and I rode in the rain a lot

 

I put Commanders front and back on mine, and they handle great! Haven't had ANY issues, in ANY weather.
