So your not hitting the pipe downward with your heel, it's to the side.

With my forwards, my heel hits the heat shield/chrome guard. The shield keeps it cool enough I don't notice and heat.

Good luck in your search!

Yes I got mids with a 2into1 pipe, the bend is right where my heel wants to sit

I would look for a fabrication shop that would work with you in make a nice shield out of stainless steel. I was thinking of something that would bolt up to the two fasteners under the foot rest, come up and wrap around the header back to the muffler then end about an inch, 2 cm, past where your boot hits. Leave small gap for an air boundary. Just an idea. A good shop could even polish it for you.

make a nice shield out of stainless steel.
Clamp it to the pipe with stainless hose clamps. Run the clamps through standoffs on the inside.

Done

Bought new pegs, which move my foot slightly forward.

3mm thick aluminum, cut shaped and drilled.
Sandwiched between peg and it's clevis - works perfectly and allows peg to fold up when needed

Simple and awesome!
Me? For esthetics, I'd paint black, polish or chrome the bracket.

As it get knocked a fair bit I don't think will stay, it will get chipped. I may at some point polish the aluminum, and it prob looks better in real life than in the pic, I'm more than happy with how it is!

Need to clean the bits of boot off the pipe and paint it first
