Do you ever get up to and past 110 mph? I also get death wobble then but can power through it up to 125 and kinda lay down on the tank.. Tucking in behind the bars does eliminate death wobble..

In all fairness it should be noted that when it comes to vintage British motorcycles, if you do any action beyond leaving it stashed in your garage, cracks often follow..

Bill Dodge from Bling's Cycle has been building rigid frame bikes with modern HD drive trains. I am pretty sure he takes Twin Cams for Touring bikes and mounts them rigidly, into a rigid frame.

Look him up, maybe some of your answers are there, good luck.

There are quite a few rigid choppers with Twin Cam engines on the roads here in Sweden. Most of them are using Softail engines with balancers since they are designed to be rigid mounted, but there are a few with Dyna engines as well. As far as I know the engine vibrations are not an issue even with the TC A engines, the thing that keeps most builders from using Dyna engines is that the oil tank hangs quite low under the transmission making it vulnerable to damage running a low bike.

I would think that vibrations are not an issue with rigid mounts in a Dyna frame, but I agree the forces acting on the swing arm mount could be a problem.
