I forgot to tell you guys how unpleasantly surprised I was to find the original bars made out of such thin pipe; it is actually disgusting because in the case of an accident those barsthat you grab to tight as hell to try and make the best of it are really paper thin! I noticed it when replacing my grips and switch gear. Does anyone know if someone makes exactly the same bars with tougher pipe. Harley puts antioxidant paint on the inner surface, but now I understand why some bikes have been recalled due to the bars breaking.
So much steel, but where you really need it you get the conduit type pipe where electricians shove their wires into.

I don't want any change in shape, just stronger...FGS!
