Purchased an 07 Supglide Custom. Very large amount of $$$ for me. When the man asked for my credit card, I handed him my drivers license. After a few miles under my belt, everything was hunky dory. I just love it. (jitters?,,yes)

OK, I'm gonna say it: Maybe you don't really want that big bagger! What's wrong with the Bob? Nice bilke already, I would say, if you want a big bagger, go for a Yamaha Star, they are awesome and cost less, get more for your money! I know that is not a popular opinion, I love my Harley, but I was looking at baggers the other day and saw it. Otherwise, lose those jitters and enjoy the Heritage!!

More like anxious to get on the new bike!!!! I get the jitters when I'm around a bunch of bikers and they're all watching you get ready to take off. Let see the last time I tried to be a show-off, I forgot to turn the gas on, so as I was burning rubber on the take off; I stumbled and sputtered half-way down the block. Oh how sauve I felt.

My jitters was "what is my wife going to say " Maybe should have talked to her about the purchase.
Then thought its a good thing and all will be fine....no ,more jitters and still married after 2 yaers with bike

Yeah, maybe I should have discussed it with my wife first too....

Nah,if I did, I probably wouldn't be on this forum with a new bike in the garage!

She does bringup that I really never asked about getting a new bike every so often, but I just walk out to the garage and smile. Well worth any b!tching she can put out.

Again, any jitters you have now, should be gone in no time, smile, enjoy!

If I had purchased a Harley without dicussing with my wife, she would have divorced me!!............... Oh, she divorced me anyway

Then long after I got over it, I boughtmy Harley.............. didn't ask anybody but the bank.

I think I would get a little jittery, if I was ditching my SuperGlide for a bigger bike. That is why I am waiting to pay mine off before buying the RoadKing. I keep both until I decide which I don't need.

I always get the jitters, before and after. If it's a purchase just for me, like my new bike was,I even feel guilty about it, even though the wife said it was ok. It takes me awhile to talk myself into "deserving" it. You only live once, if you don't do it, who will?

He had the picture on his cell phone to show me...... Then!!! Then!!! holly hell his wife came walking up the parking lot.... saw us talking and blew us off like a freight train................ she was so pissed, he was talkin about the bike........... I got JITTERY!!! He told me See!!!! she won't even talk about it................................................ .
