How do you...
How do you remeove the kickstand on a 06 Bob?[sm=headbang.gif] I got it up on the jack, and no easy access. [sm=wtf.gif] Do you need a 'crowsfoot' wrench, or what.
Thanks, in advance.

but - if you remove the stand - won't the bike fall over?
seriously - you got the craftsman yellow lift?
if so - nice lift - but i've also wondered - "what if i had to remove the jiffy stand?"

OK, my fault for being so vauge. I want to remove the jiffy stand and replace it with another one(black powder coat). I'm wondering what tool(s) I need to access the bolt that holds it to the bike. If you've ever looked at it, there's very little access to the retaining bolt. Now back to your scheduled programing...

A pin holds the pin in,
then the kStand drops out as an assembly.

Remove the cotter from the pin holding the pivot assembly...remove the spring and drop the stand and pivot assembly out the bottom....I would send you a scan of the exploded view but my scanner bit the dust....:>
Cool, Thanks all. Well it looks like I'll be re-aquaint myself with my one man jacking techniques tomorrow to drop the jiffy stand. I was looking at that bolt and trying to figure out how to get a wrench on it.
