Default Stage 1 a/c - Suggestions?

Hey all,

I will be running the big radius pipes on my 06' bob. What would be the best stage 1 a/c to get? I've been seeing most people get either the SE stage 1 or the ness big sucker stage 1. Is there a difference in performance with these, or any others for that matter?

Cheers,
Adrian

Go with the AN BS. It is far a better setup. the breather system on the backing plate is built into the banjo bolts which dumps directly into the throttle housing, rather than the AC housing. Makes a big difference if you have a oil misting problem. also, get the chrome backing plate. Comes with a K&N orsimilar filter. Some of the SE have a junk paper one. pretty good deals on the web, Easter Performance for one. I have both: the SE and the AN, and if I had to do it over again would have gotten the AN for my WG.

The SE one works fine for me.

No problem with the SE w/the black backing plate. I'm sure either will work fine for you.

I agree somewhat. Either one should give you about the same performance. I happen to like the BS better but you can't go wrong either way IMO.

I have the big sucker. Same price at the dealership, seemed more solid and was chrome (which makes it go faster, right?)
