New member hello!
Hey all,
First off, WAY cool rides here in DynaVille! Dynas, in my opinion, are underrated for customization and re-fabbin and it is nice to see some others going down their ownpath.
Pic below is the path I have taken so far.
The picture was last summer, and it now looks a wee bit different.
I lowered the seating almost 4 inches by dropping the rear frame/seat rail area which required me building another seat. I relocated all the electrics to a new mount and the battery to a custom holder at the front of the frame.
I am just finishing up the wiring after deleting almost 50% of the BS like turn signals, bar mounted starter button, etc...and am excited to get it fired up again!
My brother in AZ did the fantastic paint (see his site, below) but his clearcoater was stoned and fubar'd by squirting with too low pressure, causing the clear to SERIOUSLY flake off! Needless to say, bro now has a NEW paint partner!
So here's to you, my fellow Dyna riders! Cheers!
Peace.
ps-anyone tells ya that you dan't do it yourself? All my work is done in the 10' x 7' back room of my house with hand tools, a 4 1/2" grinder and a 110 V Sears welder.
Why pay when you can chop?? LOL!
