What are you going to use the bike for?? Showing off for 200 miles a year, riding to the bar every weekend, or riding everywhere you go and putting on 10000 miles a year or more. In my opinion the WG is about as perfect as a bike can get, it's comfy, looks great, rides and handles like a dream. Only way I would get rid of my WG is if I can get a new Road Glide, even then I would find an old WG for a second bike.

It just depends on what you plan to do with your bike. I don't like the way the fat tires feel, I don't like the way the Softails handle, and I buy what looks good to me and fits me.

 

Well I can't say that I have ever riden a bike with that big of a tire but those guys say you really got to lean into

The contact patch is only a little wider than the 180 tire... The tire isnt designed like a slick ... This is the best I got to show how round the tire is..

I dont have to lean mine any differnt than the 200's or 180's on my other bikes... Maybe there scared or have some long or raked front end's

 

I rode one of those Victory Hammers with the big tire and it handled like crap.It felt like it really didn't want to turn.Maybe it's just me.

 

What, too much chrome? Too much rake? Too expensive?
