I didnt see this thread til' today, but I own a 2009 FXDF I got last July... all stock right now, can't wait to put some custom touches on it. I plan on doing exhaust first (BUB) and then I will move on to some cosmetic items.

 

Mine started out looking just like yours....Great bike! Going to post some new pics soon. We had the Purgatory paint set pinstriped with some fire red and gray. Really brought out more contrast.


What is the deal with the classifieds? I have the stock black denim tins that came on my bike I would like to sell and cannot make a post in the for sale section....

Still waiting to get back to the States and pick up my 2010 Silver Denim Fat Bob.

 

I just bought an '08 vivid black FXDF, it's pure amazing. Rode it for the first time this morning and still have a smile. Handles like a dream, gets looks from everybody, and just feels good.

 

I just ordered a 2011 Fat Bob Sedona Orange Bet thats a first. To bad I have to wait until Oct to pick it up but good things come to those who wait right?

 

So my fellow Fat Bobbers...Did you stay with the stock D427 Dunlop bias ply tires or did you switch to something else in a radial?

I have a 09 denim, just got it about 2 months ago and love it. just need a new exhaust then I will be thoroughly please with it.

 

I changed tire last week and I stayed with the stock D427. I'm really pleased with both the grip and handling. I came 15000km before it was time to change it. The only bad thing is the design of it. Anyone that has found any other tire in the same dimension exept for the Metzeler ME880?
