RE: Power Commander, Ness Big Sucker vs Dealerships
I did hear both and i liked the sound of the straight shots. They have a nice deep tone to them.I live in a quiet neighbor hood and no one seems to complain about it.I leave for work sometimes at 5am i dont think idling its any louder then my superduty truck with a diesel in the winter.I did like the looks of the big shots but not the sound.PLus im one who believes in you need a little bit of back pressure to make motors run good.LEts see do you have high speed internet? If you do i can take my camcorder out start my bike record it and email you a small video clip of how it sounds and looks...Let me know

I just recently bought a Power Commander for $269.00 w/free shipping, base map loaded to match bike mods and the accellerator pump enabled, from Fuel Moto, e-mail: supermoto17@yahoo.com Phone # (920) 729-4758 . This guy is very-- sharp and can probably answer and lead you in the right direction better than we can. He is in Menasha, Wi and has extensive background on performance mods and dyno tuning.
Power Commander is coming out this month with a free upload named Rev-Extend that will allow you to set the rev. limiter instead of having to pay a dealer, also a start fuel which can inject a little more fuel at startup which you probably would'nt need.
The Power Commander is very user friendly and has manual features that allow you to lean and richen in small percentages which for example you were going on a trip and wanted to get a little better fuel mileage, you just lean it up 2-4% manually and save fuel. You can manually adjust the low mid and high operating ranges of the bike to a limited amount richer or leaner over the base map.
