Or just puttin somethin over it? My dad gave me his 06 FXD for a few years, and he gave me the green light on mods. so....what have u guys been doin with these? I don't see a way around it unless I sand the tank and re-paint, so is there a badge, decal, somethin that will cover it or fit over it? thanks....

 

You may not like them any better than the decals, but I have put Street Bob emblems over my decals. They fit perfectly.

These will do until I paint the tank.

I'm pretty sure I've seen some smooth-side tanks. I hope they're FXDI and that someone has a tip to share ... something easy like "heat it up with a hair dryer and gently peel it off"I hope!! I've been wanting to remove mine almost since I first got it.
