I wear black hiking boots that cover my ankles and are extremely comfortable.

Usually ride with some Bates 6" black leather duty boots with dura shock soles which are waterproof. Pretty light and flexible w/o the clunky soles.

I wear some RedWing motorcycle boots that zip up the side. The lace up the front, too, but the side zip helps when you want to get them on and off easily. They are real comfortable and aren't too bulky to get under the shifter. The only thing I don't like about them is that they zip down the outside of the boot instead of the inside. Still, I like them.

I'm still wearing a pair of Joe Rocket black boots from my sportbike days. Comfortable as hell, and I can't seem to destroy them.

Black Dr. Martens that I have had for 6 or 7 years and are very comfortable.
