That's cool you went with the drags though. I couldn't decide between drags or taller apes. I love the look of both......
Actually, if it wasn't for the denim black and a little "old school" look, I probably would have went with the drags. It was either go up or go down....but I couldn't stay stock.

STREETBOB, the iron cross on your fender, what's it made of? I'm really into it!

Hey, I actually found it at Autozone, it was in with there misc stuff, it's metal with a 3M type tape on the back. I just scuffed it really good and painted it flat black. It was kinda expensive for what it was, I think it was like $15 but it was the best thing for the job that I could find.

Hey tb, you might want to check out Extreme Custom Engraving. They have some neat looking covers. Thinking about trying one of them myself. I like the cross. www.azece.com

That's exactly where I got mine. $40 delivered. Highly recommend, however, keep in mind that any "shiny stuff" is polished aluminum and not chrome. Worked fine for me since, if anything, I'm removing chrome from my bike.

Thanks for the heads up, Whiff. Does the polished still look good with the chrome, though. Looks good on your bike. I like it mixed with the black. What air filter set-up do you have? I think I like the looks of your filter and cover better than the insert I'm considering for the stock cover. Here's the mock-up I have for my bike with the insert. I'm going to attempt to give my Low Rider more of a Bob look:

Actually, I went with the brushed aluminum over the polished. With the football, there was just too much chrome, so, I decided to start trimming it down. My buddy has a polished skull cap from them and I think it looks fine with the chrome stuff he has. Also, PowerCobra98 on these boards has a picture somewhere of a full polished aluminum cover that will give you an idea of what it looks like against chrome.

For A/C kit, I went with the standard SE kit. I was happy to find that my element wasn't the blue/white one. Mine must've been an older version or something.
