I've installed the SE stage 1 also, I had already bought the skull air cleaner insert so I modified the bracket and reinstalled it on the new round filter. Looks cool being able to see it, however you can't ride in the rain.

Hey, sorry it took me so long to respond, I'll give you a breakdown of what I did and am still doing.
The bars are by MCM Chrome Products pt#25-0673 (about $55), they are 1" diameter 14" high and use the stock risers. I did use the stock brake line, I took the mounting points off and re-bent the metal line to form to the handlebars. It looks ok, but to look real good I'm going to replace it with the longer one. As far as the clutch and throttle cables, I went with the stainless, throttle cables pt#56370-03A, they're 4.5" longer than stock, the clutch cable is pt#56417-03 it's about 6" longer than stock.
The wiring must also be extended, I purchased a kit from Long Beach Sindicate, it's a wiring extension for '96 and later handlebars, it includes all the wiring except for the turn signals and I think it's about $20, it's pt#2120-0022.
Note:
The handle bars are not set up for internal wiring, if you plan to do this the bars must be modified as I've been doing for the last two nights, if your going to do this you may want to consider different bars already setup for it unless your up for the task.

That's a tough call, the cables are pretty tight. I would say the cables would still need to be replaced but you might get by without the wiring mods if you kept them on the outside of the bars.

I knew as soon as I first swung a leg over one that I'd have to adjust the bars. I pushed them forward a few inches this morning and like it much better now.
