Im really struggling with this guys. I keep going back and fourth between picking up some Wild 1 chubbys or the Carlini Flying apes. Has anyone had both on their bike? Any input would help from either side of the spectrum. Thanks!
Ive got Gangster Apes, Black. My buddy has wild 1's. Both are Top Notch. I like the Carlinis better, but Im biased. The flyin apes are sick too, I just like how Carlini's are made. Thick, Fat and nasty. Ive got the 18's 1 1/2. Wouldnt have anything else.

Do you feel like your leaning forward to much with the gangsters? Ive never actually seen anyone riding with them.
Well, Im 6'6'', so I have to have them forward alittle or its uncomfortable. I sat on one with the flyin's and it feels kinda the same. You seem to have alittle bit more of the bar that comes to you. But with the Gangsters, it feels like you can stretch out more, just depends on how you wanna ride. Some people have their bars back to them, I dont like that feeling, I like to have my bars up so if feels like Im in more control. But, if your not tall, you may like the Flyin's because they come to you, and you will have some bend in the elbow. I like to have my arms up alittle bit.
Oh, I also like how the Gangster's seem to flow with the forks. Just looks better, IMHO. I dont like to sit on my tailbone when Im riding, I like sittin like Im in a recliner with my arms up. My hands are about eye level with a little bend in the elbow, but thats how I ride. So guys like to lay back, but that doesnt feel rite to me

I went with Carlinis because not many people by me have them. I liked the Wild 1s, but to me, If I'm gonna spend the money, I want something a little more unique.....thats why I went with 14" Flyin' Apes...they are perfect for me and I'm 5',9''.
I have had both. I went from wild 1 16" to 16" flyin apes in 1.5". the Carlini's in 1.5" look way better and are a little bit taller due to the bends and such. they do not have nearly as much pullback either. The carlini's are a bit mroe expensive, but well worth it quality wise in my opinion.
