VTwin Spark Knock

VTwin Spark Knock
"07 Low Rider. K&N REPLACEMENT Filter. Stock exhaust. 6500 miles on the bike. Full throttle input initiated at 3K RPM runup to 5K RPM. Sounds like small pebbles dinging against the engine. I know what V8 spark knock sounds like but not a 96 CI VTwin engine. Am I hearing spark knock? To lean maybe? Thanks!

RE: VTwin Spark Knock
All of the research I have done implies that even though you "may" be able to change exhaust and not cause a lean condition if you change to a better breathing AC you will deffinately cause a lean condition which will in turn cause knocking or pinging unless you remap.
