Default Just installed Rush 2.0's

I finally ordered some Rush 2.0 slip-ons for my Fat Bob. I got them from Fuel Moto (nice price and quick delivery). Installation was not too difficult. I had a little trouble getting the top pipe off, but putting the new ones on was easy.

They sound great! Nice deep low rumble--good volume, but not too loud. The first time I fired up the bike I couldn't suppress a grin. I'm happy so far. I'm still running the stock a/c and didn't do the download. Hopefully it'll be fine. I plan to add those later when I have the money.

Those are the ones I am thinking of getting. I will be doing the samething and not changing the fuel mixture or the air cleaner right away.

If you dont mind...How much are the pipes through Fuel Moto?

It was $249 total including shipping. They arrived 3 days after I called in the order.

I also just installed the Rush 2.0's tonight on my Fat Bob. Yep, the upper pipe was a bear to get off since you can't wiggle it much because of the bracket. But the bottom one came of no prob and they went on even easier. I stared at it for a few seconds to take it all in, then BANG, i fired her up. I let it run for 30 seconds or so and looked around like i was waiting for the cops to stop at my house. LOL. Wow, they are loud. I didn't even blip the throttle. It was raining so i didn't take it for a spin yet, but i can't wait. I'm going to putt down the block real quiet like and then hit it when i get on the main road. Before i put them on, i held one up and looked through it, thinking oh s*&t, this is going to be loud cause there's hardly and baffle in the thing. I compared to the stock pipes and i could not see any light through them. I think I placed my order tuesday afternoon with Fuel Moto and they said it would be here next monday, i was shocked to see it here so fast. The chrome looks really good and i can't tell the difference from the stock pipes in appearance. I hope to get it out on saturday for a nice long run. Thanks to everyone on this forum for the reviews.

Just got mine back last week. Had the Rush slip ons with the 1.75 baffles, Stage 1 kit and the Vance and Hines Fuel pack installed. The first time I fired mine up was the same way! I was thinking these are way to loud for my taste. I was only looking for a little more rumble than stock. After riding it forawhile I am starting to think I really like the sound. Besides I am not spending any more $ on the exhaust or I will be sleeping on the bike.....

Later,
Joe

They are a great sounding pipe for sure! I was told by the people at rush that if you use the 2.0 and smaller baffles you would not have to do any changes to your bike. In other words you may keep the stock air cleaner and no fuel management. But if you allow more air then you going to have get some type of fuel management. I'm running the 2.25's on mine and love the sound! Glad to hear you like these pipes!

I am ordering mine tomorrow I can't wait. I got the ok on friday night and was real excited only then to find out that they are open mon - fri 9-5pm. I tryed calling all weekend anyway with out success. My wife is sick and tired of hearing me talk about these pipes so she finally gave in and gave me the cc. Did anyone get the baloney cut? I was just wondering how they look. I am stuck between them and slash downs.

I ordered 2.25 for my Fat Bob... Changing out the Short Shots for them. I was told 2-3 weeks back order from Friday the 25th. I already got the map setting for my FuelPak fro Vance and Hines. I am wondering if they are gonna be louder than my Short Shot Staggered or about the same?

I finally ordered my pipes today I am excited and anxious to get rid of the stock sound its just so damn quiet. The only way I knew the bike was still running was the vibration. I paid 247 and change they said 48hrs for pack and 4 days ground to ship. They wont get here soon enough. I ordered the baloney cut so I am looking forward to seeing them on the bike as I havent seen them on a fat bob yet.
