I bought a Tall Boy Seat from HD for my Bob, the ad said it lifts you up 2” and back 2” and to be honest is does just that and its made a big difference to my ride ……My question is I prefer the single seat look and want to know if anybody knows where I can buy a single seat that will still lift me up at least 2” above stock?

I traded my Sundowner for a Tallboy. It does move you back but I don't feel like it's 2 inches. What I saw said "almost" 2 inches and I feel even that was a stretch. Still much better than the Sundowner for tall guys. What I didn't like was the lift. I don't want to be higher, I like it lower (hence the bare bones seat I have). I only use the Tallboy when the wife is riding with me 2-up.

I'm not aware of a solo seat built specifically for the purpose of doing what the Tallboy does. I know they do may a Sundowner solo which would probably give you a similar amount of lift but no pullback. You could take one of those and send it to Mean City and have them modify some pullback into it for you.

 

I bought a Sundowner Solo.
It does give you a bit of lift.

Ibought a Tallboy seat and was disappointed.
I wantedmore lift than what the seat had.
The seat moved you back more than raised you up.

So far I like the Sundowner better than the Tallboy.
I have been thinking about selling the tallboy.
