Default Late Christmas Delivery Made - FXDCI Finally!

Well, that day arrived and I felt like a little kid on Christmas Eve all week. No disappointment either... the bike is everything I thought it would be and more! Can't wait until I put the V&H pipes on next week with the Stage One.

Couple of questions/comments about my new bike:

* It's hard for me to see behind very well with the stock mirrors. Someone else also told me that... and I saw it for myself today. Any suggestion (part #) on which mirrors work best. My shoulders are in the way on the stock mirrors, and moving them don't help much.

* The seat feels fine for me... but it won't work well for 2-up, in my opinion. I have had 3 back surgeries and I hear that the HD Sundowner is a great seat for both back support for the rider, and comfort for the passenger. I hear the Mustang seat is also good, but several have told me the Sundowner is the best for back support. Is the Sundowner too wide for the Super Glide? Which seat do you think is the best? Do you have a part # or seat name for the Mustang, if you think the Mustang is a better seat?

Thanks to everyone who gave me some advice and direction in preparing for this purchase. I hate to make large purchases, but this one is something that everyone should experience.

One more thing... the California Motorcycle Safety Association class is a very, very beneficial and positive experience for all riders... new or experienced. Learning things such as 'safety cushion', 'search and evaluate', and 'lane positioning in your lane' ---- all good stuff and I saw it and felt it today in riding around town. This all translates to Safety... and that is MOST important to us all! Thanks again. I'll post some pics later when I get some time.
