The Dunlop GT502 Screamin Eagle 180/60/17 is the widest tire you can fit without significant mods.&nbsp\\; Technically even it requires mods in the form of a kit that holds the wires under the fender secure and out of the way but there are ways to do that without purchasing the kit.&nbsp\\; Everything together is sold as "The Dyna Wide Tire Kit" or the tire can be purchased separately as well.&nbsp\\; Here is what it looks like, before and after, on a dyna.

&nbsp\\;Hi Nigelgeast,
&nbsp\\;
Sharp scooter, looks like you are a european rider.&nbsp\\; I just put a 160 rear Metzler on my bike, I think its a good look.&nbsp\\; Its a lower profile as the rim is 18 inch vs. 16 inch.
&nbsp\\;
Peace,
Garret

There are a few guys that swear they got a 200 on without much mod but I know 180 fits just got to keep wiring out of the way&nbsp\\;

I don't think any of them are doing it with the stock rim though are they?&nbsp\\; And a new rim is a signficant mod from a cost perspective.

This is on a bobber so it may vary slightly..I'm not to sure how close they'd be. But he's a happy 200 customer.

Hello everyone,&nbsp\\; You do need at least a 5.5" wheel to put a 200 on properly.&nbsp\\; If your going to use the stock wheel (4.5" for mine)&nbsp\\;then a 180 is the widest.&nbsp\\; You could mount a 200 on the stock wheel but it wouldn't be the wisest decision as the sidewalls would be drawn in too much leaving a smaller contact patch and wouldn' t be very safe.&nbsp\\; Some guys are using the newer fatboy 17x6 wheels. I'm sot sure if you need a pulley spacer for the belt to not rub on the tire.&nbsp\\; My RC wheel (18x5.5) came with the correct size hub so no spacer was needed for the belt to clear my 200.&nbsp\\; The only modification I needed to do was relocate the rear signals (which moved the wires away from where the tire would rub them under load)&nbsp\\; and to trim the inner fender support (cut about an inch off the rear portion which retained the signal wires) and the 200 fits perfectly with no interference.&nbsp\\;

&nbsp\\;
Thanks to everyone for the feedback, the 2008 model comes standard with a 160 Dunlop, it seems like it is a lot of expense to gain 20 mm in width, I will revisit this when I need to replace the tire, thanks again for the informative feedback,
Nigel
