Andrews 26H vs Headquarters TC-500 vs SE 203 for 88 ci. ??
Hey guys, just wanted to hear some opinions on these three cams for my 06 bob. Which do you guys think would work better with my bike? (06 bob with 88 ci., thunderheaders, and PCIII) I want something that will give me good power throughout the power band, but mostly low to mid range power. Any suggestions anyone?

I would not even consider the 26 on a Dyna, If your into Andrews cams the 37 is the \\; most proven in my book, the new 54 cam is an internet favorite, but I was not impressed by the two dynos ive seen on them. the HQ cams are VERY torquey and have broad power bands. the other cam i would recomend other than the HQs are the Woods 6. \\; the 6 preforms very similar to my HQ .575s, which are big midrange producers!

Alright, so then the 26's are out then. But after talking to a reliable dyno technician, he said the Woods 6 is to big of a cam and is unecessary. But those HQ cams are looking good and a lot of people are very happy with them. Hmmm.. what about the SE 203's? How are those? I havent seen much about them.

the 203 is \\;\\\\\\;cheap to get, and are an improvement, but its just about the same as the 26 to me.

if your set on a SE cam try the 204. id do the HQ cam first and the woods second. and the \\;Woods 6 is not too big or unnessesary, its just right! you'll get hooked, then you'll want some more cubes and compresion and head work, and the 6 can handle it.

The taller gearing in the new 6-speeds needs consideration here. That said, focus should be on lower to mid power. If all you are doing is a cam change, the Andrews 21,26 or Cranes 6000 would make the bike really fun to ride.Almost all the other cams mentioned like a little more compression & the 6 speeds would be soft in the lower RPMs with a cam that closes the intake past 35 degrees.Regards,Tom

The addition of the Andrews 26G ( I went to gear drive at the same time) was an excellent move. I really like the improved torque. More butt to pull when Im riding 2 up with the wife. Gas mileage went up a couple mpg's. All in all, with the rest of the engine mods Ive made (see list below) I am very happy.
