Mine to. Thinking of drilling a small small hole somewhere so it gets air. Had the same problems with some of the cars in my shop, front lamps. Drilled a airhole from the inside and issue gone!

I get a little bit of the fog in there at times, but what bothers me is that it has those spots all the time.

I guess it doesn't bother me that much because I didn't even try to get it replaced.

A guy at work mentioned that he knew someone who can clean them but I didn't want to remove it just for that.

+1 on letting nature take it's course. The units are not sealed that tight to keep moisture out but they are vented to let moisture out. You can try warranty but don't be disappointed if the say no.

I think they sell those decorative back plates/face for the speedos so there has to be a way to get in there. I know they were available when I had my metric cruiser. Are they not available for Harleys?

If still under warranty, make dealer replace it. My new one has been wet several times and is still crystal clear, so maybe I got lucky and got a good one. Service did not want to warranty it, but I just worked my way up to owner of dealership and then no problem.

How is it I've never had a boat instrument fog, but these over-priced pieces of crap always do? Make 'em replace it. Manufacturer's defect.

This is why my bike never sees water, I only use Windex.

You don't have to get it wet for it to fog up, well mine anyways. If there is a lot of dew in the morning mine will be fogged.

One of you said that it is vented. That is correct and if there is a way for air to get out it can also get in. My dealer told me that moist air gets in and then when the temp and humidity conditions are right, it will fog up. I have been paying attention to mine since then and they were right. If we have had rainy or realy humid weather it will fog up even if it has not been washed or rained on for months. During dry periods it does not fog up. Mine seems to clear up after it has been out in the sun and running for a while.
