Default I'm bustin, bought my first HD today!

Finally, I found one that spoke to me. A 2005 HD Dyna Super Glide custom, FI, mostly stock with a quick release windscreen, flame luggage rack, forward controls with flame pegs, HD alarm, one owner, all original parts and keys/manuals etc included, 5500 miles, beautiful condition. Woo hoo!

It's been tough deciding, but this one is really a beauty. Going to close the deal on Saturday.

Quick picture I took with my cellphone, more when I get it home.

Now, all I really need (so far) is a nice set of bags and some passenger floorboards. Any opinions on either of those will be greatly appreciated.

I can understand. When the salesman rolled mine of the floor, a guy shopping with his wife and kids said, "Damn, I wish that were going with me." Makes you stand a little taller.

Have a great time. Nothing like a Harley as I finally realized just a few weeks ago!

It's a great feeling. A client of my wife's saw a picture she had of me on my Ultra and said "that guy has it made". I agree.

Thanks guys. It's a huge change for me, I'm a sportbike rider at heart, but my knees won't allow it anymore. I'm over the hill at age 29!!!

I'm interested in your passenger floorboards definitely Dawg Rider, PM coming.

I just went and paid a deposit, and we'll settle up tomorrow and he's bringing the bike over Saturday. I forget what the paint color is called, he told me, it's like a graphite color with a red pinstripe. Beautiful!

After paying the deposit I took it around the guy's neighborhood. Well, it's no FZ1 but it's got good pickup and decent stopping power. With the forwards, man oh man is it comfy!

Just in time for my favorite part of the riding season too. I've gotta get my FZ1 sold, anyone interested?
