Default New Dyna Rider with legs too long?

I ride a Dyna Glide Sport. I have often read of problems/suggestions for riders who are "vertically challenged", but what about us long legged lanky types. Problem is I am 6' 1" with an inseam of 36".
Can't get comfortable, seat too low and/or pegs too high.
Can't lower pegs and don't really want forward controls.
Thinking about a taller saddle if I can find something suitable that will fit.
Any suggestions? (Other than cutting a few inches off my legs.)
Thanks in advance.

Have you considered highway pegs? I'm 5'11 and it allows me to stretch my legs out nicely.

Thought of them, but lot of my riding is in town. Forwards would make more sense I know, but with a lot of stop start riding the forwards would take some getting used too and I'm not sure about comfort of them in town use.

My feet are rarely on the mid pegs, even around town. I bought mine for 50 bucks off ebay and they are the best investment I have made yet. They are really comfortable once you get used to them, even for slow 'round town riding.

I have a 03 wide glide with forward controls and 3" extensions. I dont have any complaints about city driving. You would get used to it so fast you wouldnt even realize it. I am 6'2" with 34" inseam and wouldnt even think about riding a bike with mid controls.

Thanks, guess I'll have to consider them; but I am still hoping for a higher saddle suggestion if anyone has an ideas? I can't seem to find anything higher on the usual makers sites. Most seem to offer versions that are 'even lower than factory stock'.

I sent mine out to Mean City cycles and had them move my seating position back and up. Worked well for me, but I am only 5 11. It couldn't hurt to give them a call.

Posted last response before I saw your post Red. Pardon my ignorance but what are 3" extensions? (I am new to all this)

I'm 6'6" with a 36" inseam and I find the forward controls to be perfect. I also have a set of Kury highway peg mounts on my forward controls for the extra stretch. Very comfy, especially with the Sundowner seat.

Hope that helps, I'm very happy with the setup. I usually have my heels on the standard forward pegs, with the ***** of my feet on the highway pegs. But, I can also stretch totally out if I want.
