I have not however I am running amsoil in the engine and tranny. I am a big fan of their products now that I have tried them and felt the difference. I still run the formula 1 H-D oil in primary.

I did a lot of research into the matter and one of the few tests was the Amsoil test done by Amsoil. The only test where Amsoil kick HD Syn3's but was the four ball test. After more research I found out that my bike does not have four *****, so I stuck with the HD Syn3.
If the test was unbiased, remember Amsoil did the test, then most of the top oils worked well.
Here's the test:

This is a common question on here, it seems alot of people run the H-D + formula in the primary.

Might be a better question in the the "oil and oil relation topics", in the tech forums. However according to the polls, not many - if any, are running RP in all three holes. The only vendors listed used in all 3 are Amsoil and Mobile 1.

My personal preference is Mobil V-twin in the engine, Redline HD shockproof in the tranny, and HD360 in the primary.

one thing for sure the amsoil severe gear 75/140 improves the smoothness of the tranny well above the formula + I had in there. Bike shifts so smooth.

I run Royal Purple 20w50 in the Engine and the Primary. Royal Purple 75w90 in the tranny.

I only have 300 miles on this since the oil change. Bike runs cooler and shifts smoother.

I run mobil 1 15-50 it is same as v twin but 1/2 cheap and in 5 qrt at wally world ,but use rotella t in clutch others have had no problem with friction modifiers of 15-50 in clutch with no trouble . I use rotella t because it is great oil and cheaper use rotella synt in all 3 holes in winter
will never use a amsol because there marketing span reminds me of pyramid scheme like Glenn w turner dare to be great
